Hopr
The only winning move is privacy.
The short version
Hopr runs AI models — chat and image generation — entirely on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, and no profiles. Your conversations and the images you generate never leave your device and are never sent to us. We don't have servers that receive your content, because the app doesn't send it anywhere.
What we collect
Nothing. Hopr has no account system and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We don't know who you are, what you ask, or what you generate. We can't — that data stays on your device.
Your content stays on device
Everything you create in Hopr — chats, generated images, your settings, and the AI models you download — is stored only on your iPhone. None of it is transmitted to Punk Labs. Deleting the app removes all of it.
The one network connection: downloading models
Hopr needs the AI models to work, and those are large files, so the app does not ship with them. When you choose to download a model, Hopr fetches it directly from Hugging Face (huggingface.co and its content-delivery network), a third-party model host. This is the only routine network activity in the app.
- These requests are made by your device to Hugging Face, not to us. We never see them.
- Like any web request, Hugging Face's servers may process standard technical information such as your IP address and device/network type to deliver the file. That processing is governed by Hugging Face's own privacy policy (huggingface.co/privacy), not this one.
- We send Hugging Face no information about you, and we attach no identifier to these downloads.
If you choose to use the optional "gated model" feature, you may enter a Hugging Face access token. That token is stored only in your device's secure Keychain and is sent only to Hugging Face to authorize your download. It is never sent to Punk Labs.
No tracking, no sharing
We don't use cookies or tracking technologies in the app, and we don't load third-party analytics or advertising networks. We don't sell, rent, or trade personal information, because we don't collect any.
Children's privacy
Hopr is not directed at children, and we collect no data from anyone — including children. Because the app can generate open-ended AI content, it is intended for mature audiences.
Your rights
Because Hopr holds none of your data, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf — uninstalling the app erases everything it stored locally.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the updated version on this page.
Who we are
Hopr is made and published by Punk Labs Ltd, a private limited company registered in England & Wales (company number 17307364), registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Punk Labs Ltd is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR — though, as set out above, the app is designed so that no personal data reaches us.
